Nokia Unveils New Lumia Model

Add another name to the increasingly long list of Nokia smartphones -- the Lumia 925, the latest iteration in the company's Windows Phone 8-powered product line. The 925 is a thinner, sleeker version of the company's 920 model. Its polycarbonate body is encased in a metal frame, making it one of the more robust offerings in the Lumia line.

In terms of features, the 925 has an 8.7-megapixel camera; a 4.5-inch, 1280x768 display; a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor; 1 GB of RAM; and 16 GB of user memory. The camera is equipped with the company's Smart Camera mode, which, in Nokia's words "offers an easy way to take 10 shots at once and then edit them afterwards with tools and effects."

The Lumia 925 will go on sale in selected European markets and China in June, followed by the U.S. and numerous other countries. It will sell for approximately 469 euros ($608) before taxes and subsidies.
