First Quarter Results Represent Record Numbers for the Network; Sales Up 20% Year-Over-Year
SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- TheNational Planning Holdings, Inc. (NPH®) independent broker-dealer network achieved record revenue of more than $225.8 million during the first three months of the year, an increase of 14.6 percent over the same period last year, and an increase of 7.5 percent over the previous quarter. The network, which is one of the nation's largest, is made up of four firms: National Planning Corporation® (NPC®), INVEST Financial Corporation® (INVEST), Investment Centers of America, Inc. (ICA) and SII Investments, Inc.®
NPH also increased total product sales to $5.1 billion in the first quarter, representing an increase of 20.3 percent over sales in the first quarter of 2012, and an increase of 21.3 percent over the previous quarter. NPH also continues to hold solid with its advisor count, ending the quarter with a total of 3,564 registered representatives across all four firms.
