Cardinal Bank Honors Edison High School Students

TYSONS CORNER, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Cardinal Bank (NAS: CFNL) celebrated the certification of nearly 75 students in the My Money, My FutureSM financial literacy program at Fairfax County's Edison High School, located in Alexandria, VA. Cardinal Bank Regional President Kevin Reynolds was joined by Frances Ivey, Cluster V Assistant Superintendent, Fairfax County Public Schools, Tamara D. Kaufax, Lee District School Board Representative, and, EverFi Executive Vice President Ray Martinez, to present certificates and speak to this semester's certified students. Additional Edison High students were also certified during the first semester of this school year.

Brad Rickel, Edison Academy Administrator, was joined by Fairfax County Student School Board Representative Lucy Gunter, and a class speaker, to round out the program in teacher Jake Moon's class. Following the presentation of the certificates, students broke into teams to play a round of "Beat the Banker," using EverFi's latest simulation technology, squaring off against Cardinal Bank and EverFi representatives to demonstrate the many concepts they learned while pursuing certification.
