Plantronics Among Industry Experts Invited to Discuss Wearable Technology at Leading Developer Health Conference
SANTA CRUZ, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Plantronics (NYS: PLT) today announced that Michael Holmlund, Plantronics Developer Community Evangelist, will be speaking at the Health:Refactored Conference. The inaugural conference is a two-day event in Silicon Valley geared towards developers and designers with the goal of driving innovation for wearable technology and the health industry.
During the conference Holmlund will participate in the wearable technology and gadget workshop and will discuss the convergence of big data, cloud, analytics, and wearable tech and how it is poised to set business processes and communications on a trajectory of massive change. Understanding this coming disruption will be critical for developers and businesses alike, as together they strive to create applications for these new environments and interactions.
The Plantronics Developer Connection was launched last year providing developers with the tools to bring aspects of a user's physical world into applications.
