NTT Communications Turns ITW 2013 Parents into Heroes

Free Gifts Inside ITW Conference Bags Provide Unlimited Access to Online Museum for Kids

NEW YORK & CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), the global data and IP services arm of Fortune Global 500 telecom leader NTT (NYS: NTT) , is working with innovators around the world to enable cutting-edge technology solutions that improve education and enhance the lives of others. As part of this commitment, NTT Com announced today that the company is sponsoring and powering the Fraboom Online Children's Museum, a one-of-a-kind interactive online experience, to make sure kids all over the world benefit from online education and technology innovations.

Going one step further, NTT Com is turning International Telecoms Week (ITW) 2013 parents into heroes by providing a free gift to all those attending the event in Chicago, May 13-15. Attendees will find a gift card in each conference bag to take home to their kids. The card provides parents and children free access to the interactive world of Fraboom for an entire year.

"NTT Communications places the utmost importance on contributing to society in a manner unique to our company, eagerly supporting efforts to create a safe, secure and prosperous environment for people and communities," said Michael Wheeler, executive vice president of the NTT Communications Global IP Network. "We endeavor to carry out our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy in our daily business activities and operate in a way that is consistent with the company's values," Wheeler added.

"Fraboom uncovers a ground-breaking way for kids to access online education in a completely safe, functional and fun environment," said Ranjy Thomas, CEO of Flying Rhinoceros. "NTT Communications' capabilities as a global IP network service provider makes the experience more enjoyable and widely available," noted Thomas.

The goal is strengthening bonds and building a passion for learning using humor, inspiration, technology and art to expose children to the power of the imagination. But what makes the Fraboom adventure so unique is the fact that kids learn not just from browsing a website, but also from engaging with live teachers about art, science and more, while exploring Fraboom's interactive exhibits. Via live streaming video, kids are greeted by name and can ask questions, all the while playing online games and activities. With new content being added every week, the on-demand museum provides endless fun for families.

Fraboom was created by Flying Rhinoceros, a children's entertainment company based in Portland, Oregon, that specializes in generating engaging educational content. Flying Rhinoceros wants to see families inspired together and hopes to foster these connections by offering creative experiences through books, cartoons, classroom materials, websites, live presentations and interactive programming.

NTT Communications is also excited to provide free Fraboom access to all of the employees of its existing and prospective customers. To establish free unlimited access to the Fraboom Online Children's Museum, companies should contact their NTT representative, or email fraboom@us.ntt.net. NTT Communications supports Fraboom thorough its Tier-1 Global IP Network.
