Groupon Introduces iPad Point-of-Sale Tool for Merchants

Updated

Groupon today introduced its latest point-of-sale solution, Groupon POS, for a variety of small business owners including, "cafes and delis ... salons, spas, and florists."

The new application is specific to business owners using Apple's iPad, and is available for download at Apple's online iTunes app store. The new application allows business owners to customize the Groupon POS dashboard to their specific offerings, in addition to offering real-time analytics. An optional "cash drawer and printer" is also available to help small businesses manage point-of-sale customer and payment data.

Groupon POS is the company's second merchant payments solution developed for Apple device users, following the introduction of Groupon Merchant, which was introduced last year for iPhone and iPod Touch users.
