By now, you've probably heard the dire news that PC shipments declined nearly 14% in the first quarter on a year-over-year basis. IDC believes a major culprit to blame is Microsoft Windows 8 and its lackluster reception with consumers. However, there's more to the story than one company singlehandedly killing the PC.
