Teekay (NYS: TK) reported earnings on May 9. Here are the numbers you need to know.

EPS came in at -$0.17. The eight earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ anticipated -$0.19 per share. Non-GAAP EPS were -$0.17 for Q1 compared to -$0.30 per share for the prior-year quarter. GAAP EPS were -$0.09 for Q1 compared to $0.02 per share for the prior-year quarter.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 46.5%, 310 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 15.1%, 60 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was -1.4%, 160 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)

Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $441.5 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is -$0.19.
