Waste Management Declares Quarterly Dividend

Waste Management is hauling out another shareholder payment. The company has declared a quarterly dividend of $0.365 per share of its common stock on June 21 to shareholders of record as of June 7. That amount matches Waste Management's previous distribution, which was handed out in March. Prior to that, the company paid $0.355 per share.

The firm has been fairly steady and reliable in dispensing and increasing its dividend over the years. Since October 2000, that payout has ranged from $0.01 to the current level.

The just-declared dividend annualizes to $1.46 per share. That yields 3.5% at Waste Management's most recent closing stock price of $41.30.
