Cardinal Bank Promotes Joe DiStefano to Senior Vice President
TYSONS CORNER, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Joseph M. DiStefano has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Market Executive, of Cardinal Bank (NAS: CFNL) .

DiStefano has been with Cardinal since 2003, initially as Assistant Vice President, Government Contract Lending. In 2005, he transitioned to Business Banking, focusing on the Prince William, Stafford, and Fredericksburg Markets in Virginia. He served in this capacity until 2007, at which time he was promoted to Vice President, Commercial Lending for this same region. With this promotion to Market Executive, DiStefano will be responsible for the Business Development efforts of a team of lenders, business development officers, and branch managers in Fredericksburg and Stafford County, as well as expanding our business development efforts in Caroline, King George, Fauquier and Spotsylvania Counties. In addition, he will continue to manage a commercial loan portfolio.

A Fredericksburg resident, DiStefano holds a B.A. in English from George Mason University, and graduated from the Virginia Bankers Association School of Bank Management in 2008. Since 2007, he has been an active member of the Rappahannock Economic Development Corporation, a non-profit, certified development company that facilitates long term financing for small businesses in Virginia through the SBA 504 Program, where he currently serves as Chairman. He is also the Technical Director of FC Milan, a non-profit soccer academy located in Fredericksburg, VA.
