Apple Targets Google for the First Time
Throughout Apple's "thermonuclear" war against Google Android, the Mac maker has historically shied away from targeting the search giant directly. Instead, Apple has always assaulted Android OEMs, including Samsung, HTC, and Motorola, to name a few.
As part of its lawsuit against Samsung, Apple is requesting a court order Google to hand over source code related to Android. Since Google would be a third party, it would have less rights than Apple or Samsung when it comes to "reciprocal discovery."
