Windstream Declares Fresh Dividend

Updated

Windstream can hardly be accused of being erratic with its dividend. The company has declared a common stock distribution exactly in line with its traditional shareholder payout. It will hand out $0.25 per share on July 15 to shareholders of record as of June 28.

The company has held resolutely to that amount, paying it in every quarter since early 2007. The only time it shelled out a different figure was in October 2006, when it launched shareholder payouts with a $0.204-per-share distribution.

The current dividend annualizes to an even $1.00 per share, which yields 11.7% at Windstream's latest closing stock price of $8.52.
