Stillwater Announces Certified Annual Meeting Results
BILLINGS, Mont.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Stillwater Mining Company (NYS: SWC) (TSX:SWC.U) ("Stillwater" or the "Company") today announced that IVS Associates, Inc. ("IVS"), the independent Inspector of Elections, has certified the final voting results of the 2013 Annual Meeting of Shareholders held on May 2, 2013.
At the Annual Meeting, Stillwater shareholders voted to elect the following directors:

Frank McAllister, Stillwater's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said, "We have been very pleased throughout the election process to talk with many of our shareholders in developing our views as to the future of Stillwater. We believe the election provides us an opportunity to begin a new chapter for Stillwater and the newly constituted Board will, as the Board always has, focus on maximizing value for stockholders through our position as the sole U.S. producer of palladium and platinum. We look forward to receiving valuable contributions from our new and continuing directors."
Additionally, IVS reported that 97.5% of shares were voted to ratify the selection of KMPG LLP as the Company's independent registered accounting firm.
IVS also reported that 65.8% of shares voted to disapprove, on an advisory basis, the compensation of the Company's named executive officers.
