Molina Healthcare Names New President for Washington

BOTHELL, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Molina Healthcare, Inc. (NYS: MOH) announced today that Bela Biro has been named president of its health plan subsidiary, Molina Healthcare of Washington. In this role, Biro will be responsible for the health plan's operations as well as the implementation and execution of various strategic initiatives. Biro was formerly vice president of finance and analytics for Molina Healthcare of Washington. He replaces Glen Bogner, who was promoted to regional vice president of Molina Healthcare, Inc., overseeing health plans in California, New Mexico, Utah and Washington.

"Bela's respected track record throughout his career in the health care industry and his experience at Molina Healthcare will be instrumental in guiding our continued growth in Washington," said Bogner. "As we seek to provide additional members with high quality care, it is important to have a strong leader like Bela at the helm of the organization."


Biro brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in the health care industry with prior positions including director of finance of Swedish Medical Centers in Seattle and chief financial officer of First Choice Health Network, Inc. He received his bachelor's degree in business administration from California State University, Fullerton and completed the Executive Development Program at University of Washington's Foster School of Business.

Molina Healthcare of Washington arranges for the delivery of health care services to families and individuals who are eligible for Medicaid and Medicare in the state of Washington. As of March 31, 2013, Molina Healthcare of Washington has 416,000 members.
