ICF International Names Subodh Karnik Vice President

Appointment Strengthens ICF's Aviation and Aerospace Consulting Work

FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- ICF International, a leading provider of consulting services and technology solutions to government and commercial clients, has named Subodh Karnik to the position of vice president for ICF SH&E, which provides professional services in the aviation and aerospace fields.


A senior executive with more than 30 years of experience, Mr. Karnik will build upon ICF SH&E's five decades of successfully assisting airline, aerospace, and travel companies to enhance their value through rigorous planning, restructuring, and operations improvements. He will work with clients across the globe and with ICF's aviation teams in Beijing, Boston, Hong Kong, London, and New York.

Over the past few years, Mr. Karnik has had the opportunity to lead and assist several airlines, governments, and private equity firms in ownership restructuring (privatization, investor search, and acquisitions), fleet and network planning, global alliances/joint ventures, labor negotiations, and operational efficiency improvements. He has performed interim engagements as chief commercial officer of Air Pacific, head of operations and commercial business of Fareportal Inc., and executive vice president of Air Jamaica. Prior to that, Mr. Karnik was president and chief executive officer of Global Aero Logistics Inc. He also has held senior positions at Delta Air Lines, Continental Airlines, and Northwest Airlines.

Mr. Karnik holds an MBA from the University of Michigan in the United States, and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, India.
