Responsys (NAS: MKTG) reported earnings on May 6. Here are the numbers you need to know.

EPS came in at $0.07. The seven earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $0.05 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.07 were the same as the prior-year quarter. GAAP EPS of $0.03 for Q1 were 25% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.04 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 55.5%, 110 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 6.6%, 300 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 3.1%, 240 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $46.1 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.02.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $192.0 million. The average EPS estimate is $0.18.
