MSCI to Announce on June 11, 2013 the Results of Its 2013 Annual Market Classification Review

GENEVA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MSCI Inc. (NYS: MSCI) , a leading provider of investment decision support tools worldwide, including indices, portfolio risk and performance analytics and corporate governance services, announced today that it will release on June 11, 2013, shortly after 11:00 p.m. Central European Summer Time (CEST), on its website www.msci.com, the results of the 2013 Annual Market Classification Review.

As a reminder, six MSCI Country Indices are currently included on the review list of the 2013 Annual Market Classification Review: MSCI Korea and MSCI Taiwan Indices for a potential reclassification to Developed Markets, MSCI Qatar, MSCI United Arab Emirates and MSCI Greece Indices for a potential reclassification to Emerging Markets and the MSCI Morocco Index for a potential reclassification to Frontier Markets.
