COLUMBUS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Remote RMM-1421 by Kentrox®, Inc., an innovator of intelligent site monitoring, management, and control solutions, has recently been tested by Sprint for activation on their network. Sprint is a global provider of voice, data, and Internet services.
The Remote RMM-1421 monitoring and control device by Kentrox has passed the current testing standards and may now be activated on the Sprint network. The RMM-1421, part of the Remote suite of products and an integral part of the Kentrox site management solution, is an intelligent site device for machine-to-machine (M2M) enablement of the entire support infrastructure, providing IP management to remote locations and equipment. The product provides site alarm monitoring, protocol conversion, and equipment connectivity and acts as an intelligent extension of Operations Support Systems (OSS). It is designed to enhance a company's network management strategy, reduce operational costs, and improve operational efficiency with a reduction in unnecessary site visits.
When the Remote suite of products is combined with the Optima management system by Kentrox, bi-directional management control is supported via Ethernet or wireless communication options. Together, the Remote RMM-1421 and Optima provide detailed monitoring, automated and remote control, and management for virtually all site devices.
