KBR Awarded Turnaround Services Contract on Gulf Coast

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- KBR (NYS: KBR) today announced it has been awarded a contract by a leading chemical company on the Gulf Coast to provide turnaround services for its pyrolysis gasoline (pygas) unit.

KBR will conduct services as the general contractor to perform regulatory maintenance, mechanical fixed equipment, piping systems, electrical and instrumentation services for the pygas unit, as well as all aspects of event management, project controls and subcontractor management. Turnaround execution is expected to increase the operating unit efficiency.
