Gastar Declares Monthly Preferred Stock Dividend
For holders of Gastar Exploration's 8.625% Series A preferred stock, investors will receive their monthly dividend for May valued at 1/12th of the 8.625% per share, or $0.179688 per share, based on the $25.00 per share liquidation preference.
Gastar's Series A preferred stock trades on the NYSE MKT (previously known as the Amex, or American Stock Exchange) under the symbol GST.PRA. The Series A dividend will be paid on May 31 to holders of record at the close of business on May 15.
Gastar Exploration is an independent energy company engaged in the exploration, development, and production of oil, natural gas, condensate, and natural gas liquids, particularly unconventional reserves such as shale resource plays.
