Updated

Duke Energy is continuing to pump out payments for shareholders. The company announced it will distribute a dividend of $0.765 per share of its common stock. This is to be paid on June 17 to shareholders of record as of May 17. This matches each of the utility group's previous three payouts, the most recent of which was handed out in mid-March.

In the press release announcing the move, the firm pointed out that this is the 87th year in a row it has paid dividends.

The current distribution annualizes to $3.06 per share. That yields 4.1% at Duke Energy's current stock price of $74.78.
