Sweepstakes Lets Consumers Sign Up, Share Videos and Tag Friends to Win New Appliances

INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- To kick-off the summer season, Indianapolis-based appliance and electronics leader h.h.gregg (NYS: HGG) today announced a partnership with trusted American appliance manufacturer Maytag to give away a washer and dryer set every day from May 1 to May 31, 2013 to consumers throughout the country.


The "MayTag, You're It" sweepstakes offers consumers the chance to win a Maytag washer and dryer set every day by signing up at the contest entry page or on Facebook. Entrants can also watch and share a series of entertaining videos to increase their chances of winning.

"We are delighted to kick-off this sweepstakes with Maytag for the thirty-one days in May," said Jeff Pearson, senior vice president of marketing at h.h. gregg. "It's a great way to celebrate Memorial Day as we head into summer, offering Maytag's appliances which are designed, engineered, and assembled in the USA as prizes to U. S. consumers who for generations have trusted Maytag to provide household appliances they can count on."

As part of the partnership, Maytag and h.h. gregg will also be donating washer and dryer sets to Boys & Girls Clubs in several cities this May.
