Agnico-Eagle Maintains Dividend of $0.22

Proving it still has a heart of gold, Agnico-Eagle Mines declared Tuesday that it will pay a regular quarterly dividend of $0.22 per share on June 17 to the holders of record at the close of business on June 3. (Previously the gold miner had indicated the dividend would be paid on June 15).

Canada-based Agnico-Eagle, with exploration and development activities in Canada, Finland, Mexico, and the U.S., has paid cash dividends on its stock for 31 consecutive years. The last payment of $0.22 made in March was an increase from its prior $0.20-per-share payout.

The most recent dividend payment equates to a $0.86-per-share annual dividend yielding 2.8% based on the closing price of Agnico-Eagle Mines' stock on April 30.
