Jenks Bostic, Consumer Banking Executive in East Tennessee/North Carolina Receives Regions Bank's Top Associate Honor

Wins Better Life Award for Dedication to Associates, Customers and Community

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Regions Bank (NYS: RF) today announced that Jenks Bostic, Consumer Banking Executive in Regions' East Tennessee/North Carolina Area, is the April 2013 recipient of the Regions Bank Better Life Award. The Better Life Award is the top honor given to an associate of Regions for outstanding dedication and job performance, as well as exemplary involvement and commitment to the community.

Bostic has been with Regions for 25 years and his impact on the lives of coworkers and the bank has been immeasurable. In his tenure, he has helped coach and mentor bankers who have gone on to take significant leaderships roles, inside and outside the company, while being a top performer in his own right.

Bostic, a native of Clinton, Tenn., and one-time minor league baseball prospect, has also brought the same focus on community and helping others become successful to his efforts in the community, serving as past Chairman of the Anderson County Chamber of Commerce and the Anderson County Industrial Development Board, as well as past President of the Clinton Rotary Club. In 2009, he was recognized by the Boys and Girls Club for his outstanding leadership and dedication.

The Better Life Award is presented monthly to a Regions associate who lives the company's mission to make life better for customers, associates and the communities it serves, and who is an example of the company's values:

Regions associates are nominated by their managers and peers for the award. In addition to the recognition, associates earning the Better Life Award will receive an additional week of vacation and a crystal award.
