ExactTarget's Pardot Named 'Top Workplace' in Atlanta

Company Earns Honor from Atlanta Journal-Constitution Following 2012 Acquisition

INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Marketing automation provider Pardot, an ExactTarget (NYS: ET) company, announced today that it was named Atlanta's best place to work in the small business category for the second consecutive year.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution presented the honor as part of its "Top 100 Workplaces" program, ranking the city's top employers based on data from anonymous employee surveys fielded in December.

"Employee satisfaction and strength of company culture are the best leading indicators of ultimate client success," said Scott Dorsey, ExactTarget chairman and chief executive officer. "Winning this award post-acquisition is remarkable and is an incredible testament to the strong cultural alignment between the Pardot and ExactTarget teams."

Acquired by ExactTarget in October, Pardot enables marketing and sales departments to create, deploy and manage online marketing campaigns that increase revenue and maximize sale and marketing efficiency.

"Building a great culture has allowed us to attract top talent and deliver award-winning customer service to our clients," said Adam Blitzer, Pardot's co-founder and ExactTarget's vice president of b-to-b marketing automation. "Being named a top workplace for two years in a row is a great reflection of our team, the culture we've built and our passion for innovation."

More than 1,200 companies were nominated in this year's best places to work program.

"Pardot has created a highly dynamic workplace that fuels employee engagement and innovation," said Mike Tierney, reporter, Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "In a year in which the company was acquired, the team at Pardot remains the most engaged and satisfied of all companies surveyed."

ExactTarget's latest honor follows Gartner, Inc. naming ExactTarget a "visionary" in lead management in the "Magic Quadrant for CRM Lead Management" report. The report recognized ExactTarget for market for completeness of vision and ability to execute.
