Sinclair Broadcast Keeps Quarterly Dividend at $0.15

Diversified television broadcasting company Sinclair Broadcast Group today announced the payment of its 30th consecutive quarterly dividend.

The board of directors said the quarterly payout of $0.15 per share on both the company's class A and class B shares is payable on June 14 to the holders of record at the close of business on May 31. That's the same amount declared in February.

Following pending acquisitions, Sinclair Broadcast will own and operate, program, or provide service to 134 television stations in 69 markets while its television group will reach approximately 33.7% of U.S. television households. Sinclair is affiliated with all major networks.


The dividend payment equates to a $0.60-per-share annual dividend yielding 2.2%. The following chart includes a $1-per-share special dividend paid on Dec. 14, 2012.
