EPS came in at $0.63. The 11 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $0.62 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.63 for Q1 were 15% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.55 per share. (The prior-year quarter included -$0.03 per share in earnings from discontinued operations.) GAAP EPS of $0.64 for Q1 were 23% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.52 per share. Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 15.7%, 10 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 3.1%, 20 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 1.7%, 30 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
