NTRR Explores Multiple Avenues to Entry Into $1.7 Billion Medical Marijuana Industry

SARASOTA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Following a trip to California last week to meet with leading innovators in California's medical marijuana (MMJ) industry, Neutra Corp.'s (OTCBB: NTRR) executive leadership is pursuing a variety of paths to entry into the booming $1.7 billion U.S. MMJ market.

In addition to exploring new ways to deliver improved production support, logistics and legal services to emerging players in the burgeoning industry, the company is also scouring for new advances in cannabis technologies, including high-efficiency production systems and innovative plant-grooming hardware, primed for marketing and development.

One avenue that NTRR is pursuing includes opportunities to leverage technology developed by Purlife Distributors, Inc., to improve hygienic conditions in the MMJ production and distribution chain. Purlife is the exclusive Canadian distributor of a patent-pending, water-based solution known as PurTeq, which forms an invisible, long-lasting coating that actively protects surfaces from the build-up of bacteria, molds, germs and allergens—all of which can threaten to turn cannabis products into health hazards.

These potentially lucrative opportunities will be pursued by Cannabis Technologies, Inc., the new Los Angeles-based subsidiary founded by NTRR to engineer its market strategy in the MMJ sector. Demand for innovations in the marketplace is high: Demand for high-quality medicinal buds could potentially spur retail medical marijuana sales to an estimated $6 billion by 2018.

Neutra Corp. is dedicated to commercializing innovative, all-natural products to compete in the fast-growing medical marijuana sector alongside Cannabis Science Inc. (CBIS), Medical Marijuana Inc. (MJNA), HEMP Inc. (HEMP) and Growlife Inc. (PHOT).
