ExactTarget Named a Visionary in Lead Management by Gartner
Evaluation Based on Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute
INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Global cross-channel digital marketing leader ExactTarget (NYS: ET) announced today that Gartner, Inc. named ExactTarget a "Visionary" among lead management providers based on evaluation of its Pardot marketing automation solution.
Designed to streamline sales cycles and accelerate revenue growth, Pardot earned the "Visionary" title in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for CRM Lead Management for its completeness of vision and ability to execute.
"ExactTarget is transforming business with an intuitive solution that empowers marketing and sales teams to work together to increase sales velocity and accelerate revenue growth," said Scott Dorsey, ExactTarget co-founder and chief executive officer. "We believe being named a Visionary in our first ever appearance in the evaluation is a testament to our team and further validation of our ability to redefine marketing automation by bringing together business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing automation in one enterprise platform."
Gartner evaluated 12 technology vendors on 15 criteria in the annual evaluation.
"Lead management is evolving from a technology that was implemented predominantly by B2B and B2B2C organizations, and is now becoming more prevalent in consumer-facing, B2C organizations," according to the report. "Investment in lead management is expected to continue during the next several years as organizations continue to focus on increasing enterprise growth, attracting and retaining new customers, and maximizing productivity of the sales organization."
