AmeriGas Elects Hugh J. Gallagher Chief Financial Officer
VALLEY FORGE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- AmeriGas Propane Inc., general partner of AmeriGas Partners, L.P. (NYS: APU) announced today that Hugh J. Gallagher has been elected vice president - finance and chief financial officer of AmeriGas Propane, Inc. effective May 20, 2013. Mr. Gallagher, age 49, will also continue to serve as treasurer of UGI Corporation and AmeriGas until a successor is named to that position. Mr. Gallagher will succeed John Iannarelli, who previously announced his intention to leave the company.
Mr. Gallagher joined UGI Corporation in 1990 and has served both UGI and AmeriGas in various finance, accounting and operations roles including treasurer, director of treasury services and investor relations, director - business development and director - financial planning and analysis. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Drexel University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
