NetSuite (NYS: N) reported earnings on April 25. Here are the numbers you need to know.

For the quarter ended March 31 (Q1), NetSuite met expectations on revenues and beat expectations on earnings per share.
Compared to the prior-year quarter, revenue increased significantly. Non-GAAP earnings per share contracted. GAAP loss per share grew.

NetSuite booked revenue of $91.6 million. The 23 analysts polled by S&P Capital IQ hoped for a top line of $91.0 million on the same basis. GAAP reported sales were 32% higher than the prior-year quarter's $69.3 million.

EPS came in at $0.04. The 23 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ averaged $0.03 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.04 for Q1 were 33% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.06 per share. GAAP EPS were -$0.18 for Q1 compared to -$0.11 per share for the prior-year quarter.

For the quarter, gross margin was 67.6%, 240 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was -14.4%, 410 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was -14.2%, 310 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $98.2 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.02.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $406.6 million. The average EPS estimate is $0.27.
