JetBlue Airways (NAS: JBLU) reported earnings on April 25. Here are the numbers you need to know.

EPS came in at $0.05. The 13 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $0.10 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.05 for Q1 were 44% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.09 per share.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 25.9%, 140 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 4.5%, 220 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 1.1%, 140 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)

Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $1.38 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.16.
