How To Play
Main Menu
A. Click here to Access Exclusive Game Features such as Story Comics, Wallpapers, Screen savers, Game Walkthrough, Production art collection and a retrospective of Flo over time.

C.Game Controls - Basic game controls are located here. You can play or quit the game and you can also access help if you need it and see your medals from this screen.
Level Map
This is the level map for the game.
Click on any level once it is unlocked and you can replay for a higher score. Your best score will always be stored and shown here.
You can access the 5 Bonus levels from the map screen. Each restaurant has a bonus level that also has a goal and an expert goal score.
Sample Game Screen
This is a sample game screen to explain what the key elements of the game look like and where they are usually located.
A. Podium/Customer Line - This is the podium always located at the lower left corner of the game screen. When Flo or Karma stand beside the podium they keep the customers in line happy. Have Flo stand there until the heart meter on the front of the podium fills up and the happiness level of the customers in line go up.
B. Game Timer/Status Screen - Here you will see how much time you have before the closed sign is put out. NOTE - Once the closed sign is out the game does not end. You must serve all customers before the shift is over.
How to Play
You play as "Flo" and you will control her movements using the mouse. Click on an area of the game screen and she will walk to it.
You will see a check mark marking the area you wish for her to go and you can click several steps ahead and queue actions for her.
Before you begin you will be asked to purchase upgrades. Some of the upgrades once purchased will stay in the restaurant from that point on and others are only good for one level such as "Karma" that entertains customers at the podium,"Tony" who offers another set of hands to Flo, and "Quinn" that works the salad bar. If you only have enough money for 1 or 2 of the upgrades you should always choose to increase Flo's speed and keep Karma working at the podium. This will ensure you never lose customers in the line.
After you purchase your upgrades you will be taken to the game screen.
Note the seats are color coded. If you match a customer color to the seat you will earn major bonus points for matching. Matching is cumulative and each time you do it correctly you make the seat more valuable for the next customer.
Heart Level
Note the hearts above the customer's heads or below the customer's table when seated.
The hearts indicate the level of happiness your customers are at.
If you see the hearts getting low be sure to act immediately. If a customer runs out of hearts they will leave and a large amount of points will be deducted.
To restore hearts have Flo stand at the Podium and talk to the customers in line or purchase Karma as an Upgrade to work the Podium.
You can also restore hearts by serving the customers very fast and giving them drinks whenever possible.
NOTE - Giving a drink will break a chain. Only break chains in an emergency. If you can give drinks between chains you will have the best chance of keeping everyone happy.
NOTE - If more than 2 customers leave you will not be able to pass the level.
Seating Customers
To seat a customer click on the customers in line while holding down your left mouse button. Do NOT let go until you are sure they are placed correctly over the seats. This can be tricky and take a little practice at first.
Once you have the customers in the seat you can move your mouse left or right while holding that left mouse button in to rotate them to the correct color seat. Once you let go the customers will lock into the seats and if you make a match you will receive a matching bonus.
If you release the customers incorrectly and do not make a match you will see that the seat has changed to whatever color that customer is and will remain that way unless you change it back. You do NOT have to change it back unless you want to. Just be mindful that you can continue to match whatever pattern is there and it starts the count over when you change the seating.
Seating Bonus/Color Matching
You receive 100 points for matching the customer to the same color seat and this is multiplied by the number of times you have done this correctly throughout the level.
Taking Orders/Placing Order
When a customer is ready to order they will place their menus down on the table and will raise their hand to get your attention.
Click on the table and Flo will take their order. You will notice Flo has a piece of paper in her hand now.
It is best to chain this action and click on all the waiting tables in a row.
Next click on the Order Wheel (Shown in image above) and wait a few moments for the cook to prepare the food.
Serving Food to Customers
When the food is ready you will see it on the counter with a lid over it.
Click on the food and the corresponding table's number will highlight in yellow.
Chain this action as much as possible for maximum points.
Once you serve the customers give them a few moments to eat.
Picking up the Check/Paying
When the customers are ready to leave they will raise their hand and you will see all the plates are empty.
TIP - Be sure to only click once when you are at this stage as clicking twice will cause you to clear the table and it is easy to accidentally break the chain this way.
You will earn a chaining bonus for each check you pick up in a row.
As soon as you click on the table the customers will leave.
Be sure to watch the heart level of your customers - even though they are done eating if the hearts run out before you pick up the check they will leave without paying and major points will be deducted.
Clearing the Tables/Washing the Dishes
Once your customers have paid and left clicking on the table once more will put the dishes in Flo's hands.
You can chain this action for major points.
After you have clicked on a table take the dishes to the cart (See image above)
You will earn points for chaining this action as well.
Once a table is clear you can seat another set of customers.
Townies
Townies are townspeople that show up in the area from time to time.
You can add them to a customer group of the same type to increase the odds of making a color match with the seating.
Click on the Townie and while holding down your left mouse button drag them to any empty space in the line with customers of the same type.
NOTE - Sometimes there will be several Townies standing around. Be careful that you choose the correct color or you might not be able to match the group to any seating. If this happens hold the group out until the very end and place them in any seat where you can produce the highest number of color matches.
Drink Station
Drink Stations are introduced into the restaurant around level 3.
Use the drink station wisely and you can increase your overall earnings.
When you serve a drink you increase the customer's happiness by one heart.
Serving a drink can break a chain so be sure to serve drinks between long chains unless it is an emergency.
If a customer is seated and about to leave due to noisy neighbors be sure to keep giving them a drink in between chains to keep them there.
