FarmVille 2 'Deer Friends' Quests: Everything you need to know
If you're still working on luring that Nesting Baby Deer into your farm in FarmVille 2, you'll need to work on a series of quests called "Deer Friends" to actually get it done. We're here with a guide to completing these eight new quests, with help from Zynga. Let's get started!
A Special Deer
Plant 10 Cherry Tomatoes
Tend Fertilizer Bin 1 Time
Make 1 Ladybug Tomato Cracker
The Fertilizer Bin is available to harvest after you've simply fed enough animals. Meanwhile, the Ladybug Tomato Cracker is created using 12 Cherry Tomatoes and 12 Olives inside the Crafting Kitchen.
Deer Me!
Collect 5 Track Magnifiers
Complete 2 Grocer Tasks
Harvest 3 Lemon Trees
The Track Magnifiers are earned by asking your friends to send them to you. Meanwhile, the Grocer offers three new tasks every day, so if you've already completed your current tasks when you reach this quest, you'll need to wait until the next day to move on.
The Waiting Game
Feed 3 Adult Pigs
Water 4 Trees
Make 2 Plain Soaps
The Plain Soaps are crated inside the Crafting Workshop using one Olive Oil and one Lye per batch. The Lye can be created using Pieces of Wood and Water, while the Olive Oil is obviously created using Olives.

Collect 5 Trip String
Water 5 Trees
Harvest 15 Pumpkins
The Trip Strings are earned by asking your friends to send some to you. Meanwhile, the Pumpkins can be planted and harvested after growing for a full 24 hours, unless you have friends that speed that up. Finally, while the quest window shows Apple Trees, you can water any kind of tree to complete this quest, depending on what you have available on your own farm.
Rabbit Fun
Feed 6 Rabbits
Tend 1 Spinning Wheel
Make 1 Orange Yarn Flower Bouquet
The Spinning Wheel can be filled automatically by feeding Sheep and Rabbits on your farm. You'll receive an in-game notification telling you that it's ready to harvest, so keep an eye out for that. As for the Orange Yarn Flower Bouquet, this is made using a combination of Wool Thread Spindles, Wool Bolts, balls of Yarn, and even Pumpkins (for the orange color). All of these recipes are found inside the Crafting Workshop.
Get Your Goat
Feed 5 Goats
Tend 1 Yogurt Creamery
Make 1 Strawberry Yogurt Pie
The Yogurt Creamery is filled automatically as you feed Goats and Cows on your farm. You'll receive Yogurt when you harvest it, which can then be used in the Strawberry Yogurt Pie. To be specific, this recipe requires one Pie Crust and one Strawberry Yogurt Filling to create inside the Crafting Kitchen.
Time for a Close Up
Collect 5 Bark Brown Paint
Help Neighbors 5 Times
Craft to "Catch Two Butterflies" Items
The Bark Brown Paint is earned by asking your friends to help you out, while the neighbor task can be completed by simply visiting a neighbor and using all of our visit energy. Finally, the "Catch Two Butterflies" items are made inside the Crafting Workshop using eight Crimean Irises and two Small Butterfly Nets per batch. The Nets are earned by asking your friends to send them to you.
That's a Wrap
Craft 2 Porcelain Mugs
Complete 3 Grocer Tasks
Use 3 Farm Hands
The Porcelain Mugs are made inside the Crafting Kiln using Porcelain and Pottery Slips. Both of these items are created using Water and Mud in various combinations. Remember, while you receive a free Farmhand each day that you play, you can speed up this final task by asking your friends to come work as Farmhands as well.
There are only a few more days left to complete these quests. Good luck finishing them all off in time!
