Kayne Anderson Energy Total Return Fund Executes Definitive Agreement for the Private Placement of $130 Million of Senior Notes
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Kayne Anderson Energy Total Return Fund, Inc. (the "Fund") (NYS: KYE) announced the execution of a definitive agreement for the private placement of $130 million of senior unsecured notes ("Senior Notes"). The completion and funding of this offering is expected to be in August 2013. Proceeds from this offering will be used to refinance $128 million principal amount of the Series C Senior Notes (which mature on August 13, 2013).

The senior notes will not be registered under the Securities Act of 1933 and may not be offered or sold in the United States absent registration or an applicable exemption from registration.
