Christina Aguilera Reportedly Buys L.A. Home Next to Charlie Sheen (House of the Day)

Mulholland Estates is a gated community in Los Angeles that's popular with a number of celebrities, including singer Robbie Williams, socialite Paris Hilton and actor Charlie Sheen. Add Christina Aguilera to the list: The blond diva just picked up a $10 million estate in the private enclave near Beverly Hills, according to TMZ. Another celebrity twist? The home Aguilera reportedly bought was formerly rented by "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum Adrienne Maloof, who stayed in the home for a rumored $20,000 a month after she finalized her divorce and sold her mansion in Beverly Glen last year. Maloof's lease gave her the option to buy, but apparently she decided to cut her ties.

Aguilera's new home is a downsize in purchase price; she finally sold her Beverly Hills Mediterranean-style mansion for $13.5 million after two years on the market. That home also had its share of celebrity history: it was previously owned by Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne. The new house, like her previous residence, still contains Mediterranean influences in its architecture. Sitting on a double lot in Sherman Oaks, the 11,000-square-foot home has six bedrooms and eight baths. Large living spaces include an enclosed loggia, which leads to the extensive patio spaces, saltwater pool and spa, bathhouse, gazebo and built-in barbecue.

While the master suite doesn't boast the sort of closet that Aguilera had in her old place, it does include a fireplace, private office, large terrace with fireplace and a marble bath with steam shower. The buying and selling agents were both from Hilton & Hyland.
