The Cherry Blossom Festival Countdown in ChefVille has expanded this week, as a series of four new quests is now available to complete alongside of the daily tasks that are still unlocking each day. These four quests are called "Festival of Flavors," and they simply ask you to unlock new dishes and cook them in your restaurant. We're here with a guide to each of these four quests, with help from Zynga. Let's get started!
An Apple a Day
Have Geometric Fruit Salad Unlocked
Harvest Apple Trees 5 Times
Cook Geometric Fruit Salad 4 Times
The Geometric Fruit Salad is unlocked by collecting eight watermelons. These are earned through a general news post placed on your wall. Once you've unlocked this dish, you can cook it inside the Cherry Blossom Booth using two Square Melons, four Oranges, and three Apples per batch. Each one takes 15 minutes to cook.
Completing this first quest gives you two Broccoli, 50 XP, and 50 coins.
Have Japanese Sesame Beef Unlocked
Give 5 Chef's Services with Geometric Fruit Salad
Serve Japanese Sesame Beef 6 Times
The Japanese Sesame Beef is unlocked by collecting eight Sesame Oil via individual requests sent directly to your friends. Once you unlock the dish, you can cook it using two Sesame Oil, two Broccoli, and four Sirloin Beef. This dish takes 15 minutes to cook. You'll receive two Flour, 50 XP, and 50 coins for finishing this quest.
Mother of Mushroom
Have Daikon Cake Unlocked
Harvest Mushrooms 10 Times
Have 2 Mastery Stars for Daikon Cake
A single batch of Daikon Cake takes 30 minutes to cook, and this is the first dish available in the Intermediate level of the Cherry Blossom Booth. It requires three. The recipe is unlocked by collecting nine Daikon Radishes via a general news post on your wall, and it can then be cooked using three Daikon radishes, three Mushrooms, and five Flour per batch. Completing this quest gives you a Salt, 75 XP, and 75 coins.
Have Japanese Pickle Salad Unlocked
Have 2 Mastery Stars for Japanese Pickle Salad
This dish is unlocked by collecting Japanese Pickles. It takes 30 minutes to cook, with a single batch requiring three Japanese Pickles, five Mixed Greens, and five Tomatoes to create. The first Mastery Star of this dish is earned after cooking the Salad three times, so you'll obviously need to cook it even more than that to hit two stars. When you finish this final quest in this series, you'll receive two Salt, 75 XP, and 75 coins.
