Law Firm Kirby McInerney LLP Investigating Potential Claims on Behalf of Fisher Communications, Inc. Shareholders

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Kirby McInerney LLP is investigating potential claims against the Board of Directors of Fisher Communications, Inc. ("Fisher" or the "Company") (NAS: FSCI) related to the proposed acquisition of the Company by Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. ("Sinclair") (NAS: SBGI) . Under the terms of the agreement, Sinclair will acquire all of the outstanding common stock of Fisher for $41.00 per share in cash, for a total transaction value of approximately $373.3 million.

The investigation concerns whether the Fisher Board of Directors violated its fiduciary duties by agreeing to this transaction and whether the proposed $41.00 per share consideration adequately values Fisher common shares.
