Foxwoods Slot Revenue Rebounds in March

MASHANTUCKET, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Slot revenue at Foxwoods® Resort Casino fell 5.7 percent in March to $49.6 million, the company reported today. The monthly figure marked an $11.1 million improvement over the slot revenues reported last month. Handle for March 2013 was off 6.7 percent from the same month the previous year, but the March total of $595.2 million was $132.5 million higher than the revenue recorded in February of this year.

The Casino contributed $12.7 million to the Connecticut Special Revenue Fund based on its March results. The cumulative contribution to the state of Connecticut since Foxwoods opened in 1992 rose to $3.47 billion.


Steven Wright and Marc Anthony headline this weekend (April) on Foxwoods main stages. Wright is a two-time Grammy award winning comedic genius who sells out audiences the world over. The Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center brings its engaging exhibit of Native dolls to a close this weekend with a final tour chock full of fascinating stories.
