12 minutes of brutal Dark Souls 2 gameplay

As expected, IGN has published the world premiere gameplay video of Dark Souls 2. In the video, game producer Yui Tanimura and Namco Producer Tak Miyazoe talk you through 12 minutes of brutal gameplay footage. Surprisingly, though, the video is lacking in depths. Soon....

At first glance, it doesn't appear that much has been changed from Dark Souls; although, Namco has focused on improving the graphical quality for more realistic expressions for everything in the game. While it may be hard to see in the video, a ton of work has been put into the lighting of the game. Dark Souls 2 will be available for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
