Aruba Networks Launches WorkSpace Partner Program

Over 40 Mobile Applications Integrate with Aruba WorkSpace for Mobile Enterprise Security

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Aruba Networks, Inc. (NAS: ARUN) , a leading provider of next-generation network access solutions for the mobile enterprise, today introduced a new mobile application partner program for its Aruba WorkSpace solution that already boasts more than 40 applications at launch. The Aruba WorkSpace Partner Program establishes a community of mobile application vendors whose apps are integrated and certified to work with Aruba WorkSpace. Also announced today, Aruba WorkSpace is an addition to Aruba's ClearPass Access Management System that secures and manages mobile apps, devices and network access from one interface to secure company data and reduce BYOD helpdesk costs.

Recognizing that comprehensive BYOD management includes mobile applications as well as the mobile devices these apps are running on, the Aruba WorkSpace Partner Program allows application vendors to meet the mobile security requirements of enterprise customers. These rich security capabilities include jailbreak detection, encryption of application data, authentication against active directory and policy controls, such as identifying which devices the application is running on, which users are utilizing the application and the location of the users/devices.

To participate in the Aruba WorkSpace Partner Program, application vendors can register on the Aruba WorkSpace site to receive a toolkit that they can apply to their application in just a few minutes. Enterprises can then use the ISV's application in their Aruba Enterprise WorkSpace knowing that these applications can be safely distributed, managed and used throughout their organization.

More than 40 applications have already joined the Aruba WorkSpace Partner Program. These companies represent a wide variety of popular enterprise applications. Applications currently certified with Aruba WorkSpace include:
