Scott Fitzgerald's preeminent novel, The Great Gatsby. The release marks the first audiobook performance by Academy Award nominee Gyllenhaal, and the first of Audible Studios' series of definitive recordings of the Fitzgerald canon in association with the Fitzgerald Estate. Forthcoming audio editions will include Tender is the Night and The Love of the Last Tycoon as well as other works of fiction.

Baz Luhrmann's much-anticipated film version of The Great Gatsby will open this year's 66th annual Cannes Film Festival and will be released nationwide May 10.
