Introduces New Models That Feature Bluetooth Technology

RAHWAY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- With its stylish, rubberized exterior and great sound, last year's iP4 introduction was such a success that iHome today announced it is expanding the line. Four new models are launching that feature the same great look, feel and protection of iHome's rubberized case and incorporate the latest in Bluetooth technology for great wireless capability.

The new boombox line includes:

  • iBT16 Bluetooth Rechargeable Mini Speaker Cube: small in stature but carrying the sonic boom of its brethren, this mini speaker cube, available in grey, blue, pink, green and purple, is a great alternative for places where space-saving is paramount. A rechargeable lithium ion battery lets you take the colorful party portable, and all for just $39.99.

  • iBT24 Bluetooth Rechargeable Stereo Mini Speaker: need a little bit more power but still tight on space? The iBT24 adds a second built-in speaker to produce beautiful stereo sound. Aux-out jack lets you connect multiple speakers for a wall of sound. The iBT24 is available in grey, purple and green for $69.99.

  • iBT4 Bluetooth Wireless Rechargeable Boombox with FM Radio: continuing to grow in size, sound and features, the iBT4 adds more wattage, SRS TruBass and a digital tuning FM radio with telescoping antenna to the mix. The iBT4 is available in fashionable colors including grey, green, purple and white for $99.99.

  • iBT44 Bluetooth Portable FM Stereo Boombox with USB Charging: the flagship of the line, the new iBT44 leaves no ear drum unrattled with the addition of USB charging for mobile devices, 4 total speakers (two 4" woofers; two 1" tweeters), adjustable 5-band graphic equalizer, magnetized remote control and compatible with the iHome + Radio app for access to thousands of internet radio stations. Available in cool grey or deep purple, the iBT44 will be available later this spring for $199.99.

"With its retro design, rubberized aesthetic and great features, the iP4 struck the right chord with consumers, allowing them to express themselves both sonically and stylistically," said Evan Stein, Director of Marketing, iHome. "This year, we are excited to expand the product line by integrating the best of Bluetooth technology into a wider selection of product styles, all of which feature our great rubberized finish and classic design."
