Park Electrochemical Corp. Announces Appointment of John Jongebloed as Vice President-Aerospace of the Corporation and President of Park Aerospace Technologies Corp.

MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE-PKE) announced the appointment of John Jongebloed as Vice President-Aerospace of the Company. Mr. Jongebloed was also appointed as President of the Company's Park Aerospace Technologies Corp. aerospace advanced composite materials, parts and assemblies manufacturing and design subsidiary located in Newton, Kansas. In these positions, Mr. Jongebloed will report to Brian Shore, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Park Electrochemical Corp.


Steven Pittari, who had been Vice President-Aerospace of the Company and President of the Park Aerospace Technologies Corp. business unit, is currently on special assignment to the CEO of Park Electrochemical Corp. pending his appointment to another business position in the Company.

Mr. Jongebloed has been employed by Park Electrochemical Corp. and its subsidiaries in various positions since 1989. He was President of Park's New England Laminates Co., Inc. business unit in Newburgh, New York from 1999 until January 2009 and President of Park's Park Advanced Composite Materials, Inc. business unit in Waterbury, Connecticut from 2007 until December 2012. Mr. Jongebloed was also appointed Vice President of Global Logistics of Park Electrochemical Corp. in April 2000 and Senior Vice President of Global Logistics from July 2001 to January 2006. He was appointed Vice President of Business Development of Park Electrochemical Corp. in January 2013.
