OBJE and Partners Submit First Game to Apple App Store

SARASOTA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Obscene Interactive, the gaming division of OBJ Enterprises (OTCBB: OBJE), is proud to announce that its debut gaming app, Phantasmic, has been submitted to the Apple (NAS: AAPL) App Store in conjunction with its developer, Novalon Games.

The submission is the culmination of months of hard work by OBJE and its partners to capitalize on the incredible rise in popularity of free-to-play games for both Apple and Android devices. According to a recent Wall Street Journal article, the App Store brings in annual sales of $25 billion, driven largely by gaming titles. Earlier this year, the App Store hit 40 billion downloads since its inception, including 20 billion in 2012 alone.

In a joint venture with Source Street, OBJE formed gaming developer Novalon Games late last year to produce exciting new titles primed to succeed in the App Store and Google Play platforms. Once Phantasmic is approved by the App Store, the company expects to begin earning revenue from in-game purchases by downloaders.

"This is a major milestone in our mobile gaming initiative, and we're extremely excited to go through the submission and approval process for the very first time," said OBJE CEO Paul Watson. "Going through this process internally helps us to understand the market and hurdles associated with publishing social and mobile applications so that we can deliver economies of scale to our future gaming partners and indie developers."

Phantasmic is the company's first submission, but not the last. Hot on the heels of Phantasmic, OBJE and Novalon plan to submit their second gaming app, Stupid Pixels: an open-ended, puzzle-based strategy game that recalls motifs from the classic Lemmings.
