ChefVille 'The Cherry Blossom Festival' Quests: Everything you need to know

Updated

A brand new Ribbon event has rolled out in ChefVille celebrating the annual Cherry Blossom Festival. There are three new quests series available to complete already, surrounding the new "Onigiri Station." The first series will see you building the appliance itself, and there are three quests in this "Cherry Blossom Festival" quest line. We're here with a guide to helping you finish these first three quests, with help from Zynga. Let's get started!

Traditional Onigiri

  • Place and Complete the Onigiri Station

  • Cook 4 Chicken Onigiri

  • Tend Sugar Bins 4 Times

The Onigiri Station can be placed via this quest window and unwrapped using three energy. From there, you can build the item by collecting four Rice Spatulas, five Onigiri Boxes, four Onigiri Packaging, and five Cute Onigiri Molds. These items are earned through a combination of general news posts on your wall and individual requests sent to your neighbors.

When you finish the Onigiri Station, you'll be able to cook the Chicken Onigiri using one Prepared Japanese Rice and two Chicken. The dish takes two minutes to prepare. As for the Prepared Japanese Rice items, you can earn then by asking your friends to send them to you. Completing this first quest gives you one Salt, 10 XP, and 20 coins.

First Blossoms

  • Collet 8 Cherry Blossom Branches

  • Serve 2 Plain Onigiri

  • Give 7 Chef's Services with Chicken Onigiri

The Cherry Blossom Branches can be earned by asking your friends to send them to you, while the Plain Onigiri are cooked using one Japanese Prepared Rice, one Salt, and one Pepper. Completing this second quest gives you four Mushrooms, 20 XP, and 30 coins.

Music to the Mouth

  • Have 8 Mochi Music

  • Serve 5 Mushroom Onigiri

  • Serve 3 Caesar Salads

The Mochi Music are earned by asking your friends to send them to you, while the Caesar Salads are made inside the Salad Station using three Romaine Lettuce and one Croutons per six-hour batch. If you don't want to wait for these Caesar Salads to cook, you can use Spices to speed them up.

The final cooking task in this event asks you to complete five Mushroom Onigiri, with each being made using one Japanese Prepared Rice, four Mushrooms, and two Eggs per one-hour batch. Again, the Japanese Prepared Rice can be earned by asking your friends to send you some. You'll also be able to claim some via the Prepared Japanese Rice Stand, which comes with another quest series all its own. When you finish this final quest in this trio, you'll receive a Japanese Shoji Screen, 40 XP, and 50 coins.

These quests will be available for the next six days - good luck finishing them all off!
