ChefVille 'Glutinous Maximus' Quests: Everything you need to know

Updated

As you start working on the Cherry Blossom Festival in ChefVille, you'll need to collect a ton of Prepared Japanese Rice for cooking Onigiri. Thankfully, even though you can ask your friends to send you Rice outright, you can also build the new Prepared Japanese Rice Stand in your restaurant. This is done through a series of three new "Glutinous Maximus" quests, and we're here with a guide to helping you complete them, thanks to Zynga. Let's get started!

Rice on the Go

  • Place and Build the Prepared Japanese Rice Stand

  • Cook 6 Beef Onigiri

  • Collect 3 Water

The Prepared Japanese Rice Stand can be purchased from the store and unwrapped using three energy. From there, you'll need to collect four Boiling Pots, four Straining Colanders, four Sugar Melting Pots, and four Bean Drying Platters to finish it off. The Boiling Pots and Sugar Melting Pots are earned via general news posts on your wall, while the other two items are earned through individual requests sent to your neighbors.

As for the Beef Onigiri, this dish is cooked inside the Onigiri Station using one Prepared Japanese Rice, four Sirloin Beef, and two Eggs. Each batch takes 15 minutes to prepare, and you'll earn the first Cherry Blossom Festival "Ribbon" after you've cooked the dish just three times. Completing this quest gives you three Salmon, 10 XP, and 20 coins.

Await the Rice

  • Collect 8 Cherry Blossom Festival Scarves

  • Serve 3 Grilled Salmon

  • Visit 5 Neighbors' Restaurants

The Blossom Festival Scarves are earned by asking your friends to send them to you. As for the Grilled Salmon, this dish can be prepared on the Grill using four Salmon and five Lemons per batch. Each one takes 12 hours to complete, but you should have two Grills in your restaurant and can save some time by cooking two of these dishes at once. Completing this quest gives you four Beef, 20 XP, and 30 coins.

Under the Blossoms

  • Have 8 Picnic Blankets

  • Give 9 Chef's Services with Beef Onigiri

  • Serve 5 Mushroom Onigiri

The Picnic Blankets are earned by asking your friends for help, while the Mushroom Onigiri is cooked using one Japanese Prepared Rice, four Mushrooms, and two Eggs. This dish takes one hour to cook, and you'll earn the first "Ribbon" for this dish after cooking it just twice. This final quest in the series gives you one Japanese Shoji Screen, 40 XP, and 50 coins when it's completed.

It looks like this quest series hasn't rolled out to all players just yet, but it's likely only going to be available for a few days once it does arrive. Stay tuned for more on this lengthy new Ribbon event in ChefVille!
