FarmVille 2 'The Butterfly Effect' Quests: Everything you need to know
- Have a Butterfly House
- Fertilize 10 Crops
- Complete 5 Actions at Barbara's B&B
The Butterfly House doesn't need to be complete in order to finish this quest, so long as you have the base of it somewhere on your land. As for the Crops task, this can be finished by simply hovering over a crop and clicking on the Fertilize icon. From there, drag your mouse over at least ten crops and you'll finish off this task. You'll receive 400 coins and 20 XP when you finish this quest.
- Collect 5 Paper Butterflies
- Harvest 4 Trees
- Harvest 10 Daisies
The Paper Butterflies are earned via a general request placed on your news feed, while the Daisies can be planted for 15 coins per square and harvested after two hours. Completing this quest will give you another 400 coins and 20 XP.
- Harvest 2 Lemon Trees
- Make 1 Lemon Madeleine
- Complete 5 Actions at Barbara's B&B
The Lemon Madeleine can be created inside the Crafting Kitchen using 12 Lemons and two Batter per batch. This item can be sold for 2,010 coins and you'll earn 16 XP for each one you create. When you finish this quest, you'll receive 400 coins and 20 XP.Petal Dreams
- Collect 5 Paper Flowers
- Harvest 10 Crimean Iris
- Make 1 Iris Corsage
The Paper Flowers are earned by asking your friends to send them to you, while the Crimean Irises can be planted for 30 coins per square. They're available to harvest after two hours, and you can use eight of them to create the Crimean Iris Corsage. To be specific, the Crimean Iris Corsage requires eight Irises and one Wool Thread Spindle to create inside the Crafting Workshop. This recipe gives you 15 XP each time it's created, and when you finish this overall quest, you'll receive another 400 coins and 20 XP.
Apple of My Eye
- Harvest 4 Apple Trees
- Tend Hen House 2 times
- Make 2 Apple Tarte Tartin
The Hen House can be harvested once every day, while the Apple Tarte Tartins are made inside the Crafting Kitchen using 15 Apples and three Flour per batch. Each one gives you 15 XP when it's created. When you complete this quest, you'll receive 400 coins and 20 XP.
- Feed 4 Pigs
- Make 3 Floral Trivets
- Make 1 Custard Creme Brulee
The Floral Trivets are created inside the Crafting Kiln using one Metal Frame and one Terracotta per batch. Both of these items must first be crafted as well. The Metal Frame is made using four Horseshoes, while the Terracotta is created using three Mud and four Wool. Meanwhile, the Custard Creme Brulee is created inside the Crafting Kitchen using 14 Eggs and five Sugar per batch. You can earn the Sugar by sending out individual requests to your neighbors for help. Completing this quest gives you another 400 coins and 20 XP.

- Fertilize 20 Crimean Irises
- Make 2 Iris Bouquets
The Butterfly Guides are earned by asking your friends to send them to you. Remember, you can fertilize crops by looking for the orange droplet above each available item when you have fertilizer active in the game. Finishing this quest gives you 400 coins and 20 XP.
- Tend 2 Groves
- Have a Butterfly Flowerpot
- Make 3 Pumpkin Pie
The Groves can be two separate Groves or the same Grove harvested twice, depending on what you have available in your own farm. As for the Butterfly Flowerpot, this item is earned by collecting 13 Butterflies inside the Butterfly House. These are earned by either "crafting" them inside the Crafting Workshop or catching Butterflies that appear when harvesting trees.
Finally, the Pumpkin Pies are made inside the game's Kitchen using one Pumpkin Filling and one Pie Crust per batch. Both of these items can be crafted as well, as the Pumpkin Filling requires eight Pumpkins to create, and the Pie Crust is made using two Flour and one Stick of Butter. Completing this final quest gives you another 400 coins and 20 XP. Good luck finishing this entire quest series in your game!
