CastleVille 'Naughty Gnomes' Quests: Everything you need to know
While gnomes might normally be calm and gentle creatures, something has gone wrong in CastleVille, as Faugrimm has cursed a group of gnomes that is now behaving rather badly in your Kingdom. There are eight new quests in a "Naughty Gnome" series that will see you helping these Gnomes return to their usual, kind selves, and we're here with a guide to helping you finish them off, thanks to Zynga. Let's get started!

Have 3 Gnome Lanterns
Collect 1 Blue Quartz Egg
The Gnome Lanterns are earned by posting a general requests to your news feed, while the Blue Quartz Egg is earned through a general request sent directly to one of your neighbors. Finally, the land is found to the Southeast of the Mage Academy Greenhouse, and it can be explored using 200 Castle Level, one Exploration Crystal, and 5,000 coins. When you finish this first quest, you'll receive 3,250 coins and 65 XP.

Open the Door of the Main Gnome Burrow

Free 2 Gnomes
The Main Gnome Burrow can be opened by collecting 10 Stones, 10 Wood Logs, and three Terra Keys. These keys are earned by posting another general news post onto your wall, asking for help. When you start collecting from homes, Gnomes will appear just as Beasties do elsewhere in your Kingdom.
You'll be able to free two Gnomes from their curse by casting the "Revert to Reason" Spell, a pink Spirit spell that requires Blue Quartz Eggs, Honey, Milk, and Grapes to create and cast. Finishing this second quest gives you another 3,250 coins and 65 XP.

Clear Purple Moss from 2 Rocks
Craft 4 Animal Treats
There are moss-covered rocks in this new piece of land that you'll expand into, and the Moss can be removed by collecting Charmstones. Charmstones can be earned by casting spells on items like Cupids and Gremlins, as well as these new Gnomes that appear in your Kingdom. You'll need eight Charmstones in total to clear the two Purple Moss rocks. When you complete this quest, you'll receive 3,250 coins and 65 XP.

Craft and Use 3 Purging Talismans
Craft 2 Revert to Reason Spells
The Purging Talismans are created using Charmstones, Pails or Water and more. These are used to remove "Gloom Gloop" from many of the items inside this Gnome Burrow land expansion. Each item may require a different amount of Talismans, depending on its size, but a single "Trapped Log" requires the three that you need to finish this quest.
When you finish this quest, you'll have reached the halfway point in this series, and you'll receive 3,250 coins and 65 XP for finishing it.

Craft 4 Flaming Swords
Cast the Revert to Reason Spell 4 Times
The Flaming Swords are made using Amber, Alchemist Powders, Bronze Bars and Iron Bars. Completing this quest gives you 3,250 coins and 65 XP.
One Clean Sweep!
Clean the Gnome Burrow
Craft 3 Purging Talismans
The Gnome Burrow can be cleaned using six Gnome Lanterns, three Xtra Strong Cleansers, and three Workbenches. The Gnome Lanterns are earned by posting a general request to your news feed for help, while the Xtra Strong Cleansers are created inside the Studio using items like Sticks of Butter, Rubber Gloves, and Slime Dissolvers. The Slime Dissolvers themselves are created inside the Kitchen by combining items like Milk and Seashells. You'll receive another 3,250 coins and 65 XP for finishing this quest.

Spend 25 Charmstones in the Market
Craft 3 S'Mores
Cast 5 Sunripen Spells
The S'Mores are made by combining items like Chocolate and Marshmallows inside the Kitchen, with the Marshmallows being earned through a general post on your news feed. As for the Sunripen Spell, this is a green Nature Spell that allows you to instantly grow crops to a ripe state. It's made by combining four Eggs, five Bags of Sand, two Sunflower Seeds, and one Candle inside your Spellbook. When you complete this quest, you'll receive 3,250 coins and 65 XP.

Free GeeGee the Pet Goose
Cast Revert to Reason Spell 3 Times
Craft 3 Vegetable Cocktails for GeeGee
GeeGee is the Gnome's pet Goose, and it's currently trapped in a glowing piece of red and orange amber. This item needs eight Purging Talismans to clear. As for the Vegetable Cocktails, these are each prepared inside the Kitchen using items like Carrots and Tomatoes. You'll receive a final bundle of 3,250 coins and 65 XP for finishing off this final quest in the series. Good luck finishing these quests off in your Kingdom!
