Injustice: Gods Among Us cheats and tips

Injustice: Gods Among Us debuts on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U April 16, but enough about that. Download the iPhone and iPad game. It's a separate version that mixes card battling and third person fighting, as you create a DC Comics team of superheroes and villains, then pit these characters against computer-controlled adversaries in three-versus-three matches. That said, we're here to make the game easier with some valuable tips, some of which came directly from developer NetherRealm Studios.

Don't Forget To Block

Press the screen with two fingers to block, and do so often. The more you advance, the more aggressive the computer becomes. Just remember that you'll lose a small amount of health while blocking attacks.

Attack To Gain Power

The more successful moves you land, the more power you'll receive. Accumulate enough to unleash super moves. Just fill one of the empty containers on the bottom of the screen beneath the character, then click to activate.

Level Up

Characters not in use remain at their current levels, so if you intend to boost Batman's overall effectiveness, he needs to fight as much as possible. Do this, and you'll gain access to new maneuvers.

Activate Support Enhancements

You can instantly unlock support enhancements with power credits, imbuing characters with select abilities, like +10 percent energy regeneration and +10 percent damage.

Tag In Fresh Characters

Not only does this make the game more enjoyable, but you'll also have the whole team to call upon. Don't use the same one repeatedly. Mix it up.

Upgrade Your Characters

You can increase the damage of your special attacks by buying upgrades, or finding one in a booster pack. Tap on your hero card and tap on a special attack to upgrade it. You can buy an upgrade or use any upgrades you already have.

Promote Your Cards To Elite

You can increase a character's health and damage by promoting them to elite. Promotion requires two copies of the same card. Buy another copy of a character in the shop or find one in a booster pack, and then tap on your hero card, then the promote button. Elite versions of characters are significantly more powerful than basic versions.

Cloud Save

It's important to back up your game save to the Cloud. If you ever delete your app, you'll be able to restore all your progress, cards and credits if you have a Cloud save. Log in to your Apple Cloud account and just play our game to activate your Cloud save.
